Strawberry Mousse Cups
10-12 medium strawberries cleaned and steams cut off
1 cup heavy whipping cream
¼ cup powdered sugar
Using a blender or food processor, blend strawberries into a puree.
Spoon a tablespoon of puree into each cup.
Using a mixer with a metal/glass bowl, whip the heavy cream on high until firm peaks form.
Then, mix in powdered sugar on medium until well blended.
Fold the remaining strawberry puree into the whipped cream.
Once combined, put the strawberry mousse into a piping bag. Pipe into desert cups.
Optional: Slice a strawberry in half and place on top of each one. Or, reserve some puree to drizzle on top.
Makes 4 dessert cups.
