Chocolate Cupcakes

Ingredients

  • 1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour

  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 2 teaspoons baking powder

  • ¼ teaspoon baking soda

  •  teaspoon salt

  • 1 ½ cups white sugar

  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened

  • 2 large eggs

  • ¾ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 cup milk

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Line a muffin pan with silicone cupcake liners.

  • Combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

  • Cream sugar and butter in a large bowl until light and fluffy.

  • Add eggs to the creamed butter.

  • Stir in vanilla.

  • Slowly add flour mixture and milk. Beat well.

  • Spoon batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling each 3/4 full.

  • Bake in the preheated oven 15 to 17 minutes.

  • Remove from the oven and let cool before serving or frosting.
