Easy Tacos


12-16 oz protein of choice (black beans, or ground meat work best)

1 packet of taco seasoning

1/2 cup water

taco shells

shredded lettuce or bag of salad

shredded cheese

diced tomatoes or salsa



  1. In a frying pan, cook your protein all the way thru (If using beans be sure to drain and rinse them first.) Remove any extra grease created from cooking.
  2. Add the seasoning packet and 1/2 cup of water. Stir well and let simmer for a few minutes, until most of the water evaporates. Remove from heat.
  3. Fill your taco shells with the protein, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes or salsa. Now they are ready to eat!
