12-16 oz protein of choice (black beans, or ground meat work best)
1 packet of taco seasoning
1/2 cup water
shredded lettuce or bag of salad
diced tomatoes or salsa
- In a frying pan, cook your protein all the way thru (If using beans be sure to drain and rinse them first.) Remove any extra grease created from cooking.
- Add the seasoning packet and 1/2 cup of water. Stir well and let simmer for a few minutes, until most of the water evaporates. Remove from heat.
- Fill your taco shells with the protein, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes or salsa. Now they are ready to eat!
