FIND OUT ABOUT DIFFERENT TYPES OF SNACKS
In The Baking Crate there's a kitchen scavenger hunt sheet. Use this to learn about the tools in the kitchen and to think of different snacks using those items.
MAKE A SAVORY SNACK
Make a savory cream cheese by mixing cream cheese and ranch mix or everything bagel seasoning, then use the pipping bag and/or spatula to spread on crackers. Ranch Cucumber Bites Everything Bagel Cucumber Bites
Other ideas: Trail Mix or Chex Mix using ingredients like peanuts, Chex corn cereal and pretzels. Microwave pizza quesadillas using flour tortillas.
TRY A SWEET SNACK
Make Jell-O Jigglers using the whisk to mix, then the cookie cutters to cut them out.
Other ideas: Frozen yogurt popsicles or pudding popsicle using the silicone cupcake liners, fruit tacos on pancakes or flour tortillas using the frosting spreader.
SNACK FOR ENERGY
Make no-bake energy balls, use the teaspoon to measure and the spatula to mix, then the tablespoon to scoop then roll into balls.
Other ideas: No-bake granola bars, mini bagels with nut butter and fruit, use the spatula for both.
SLURP A SNACK
Make a smoothie or milkshake using the spatula and measuring spoons.
Other ideas: pudding cups using the whisk and silicone cupcake liners.
